SMS patient notifications

Patients receive an SMS when they check in (confirming their queue position and estimated wait), and again when the doctor is ready. Canadian numbers supported; CTIA-compliant opt-in.

WhatsApp notifications

Patients who prefer WhatsApp receive queue updates and a call-to-room notification via WhatsApp Business API. Notifications sent in the patient's preferred language (EN or FR).

French/English queue announcements

Dynamic urgency reordering

If a patient's triage score is elevated (e.g. chest pain, acute pain), the AI can automatically move them up the queue and alert the front desk. Rules are configurable per clinic.

Analytics dashboard

Peak-hour heatmaps, average wait time by hour/day/provider, no-show rate, and patient throughput. CAD revenue impact reports. PIPEDA-compliant — all exports anonymised by default.

Multi-doctor routing

For group practices and walk-in clinics: patients are assigned to the next available doctor based on specialty, language preference, and workload. Prevents one doctor from being overwhelmed while another is idle.

Overflow management

When capacity is exceeded, the system automatically communicates expected delays, offers a virtual queue position (patient can leave and return), and notifies the clinic manager.

PIPEDA audit logging

Every queue event — check-in, notification sent, position change, discharge — logged with timestamp and user ID. Full audit trail exportable for OPC compliance and internal quality reviews.
