MOVO-X ↔ Medesync integration.

MOVO-X kiosks integrate with Medesync — TELUS Health's web-based EMR for Quebec physicians and specialists — via SMART on FHIR launch, FHIR Appointment / Patient resources, and the kiosk-side RAMQ health-card workflow.

What Medesync does (research summary)

Medesync is a 100% web-based EMR designed by a physician and acquired by TELUS Health. Native RAMQ workflow scans the patient's Quebec health card barcode at check-in and retrieves the RAMQ record. TELUS Health's broader Practice Solutions ecosystem documents FHIR eReferral APIs and SMART on FHIR contextual launch, and explicitly invites clinics and partners to build their own integrations on top.

Integration paths.

Path 1

SMART on FHIR launch (preferred)

MOVO-X kiosk launches as a registered SMART on FHIR app from within Medesync's clinic context. Reads today's FHIR Appointment list, posts arrival events back, writes payment receipts as FHIR Resources.

Path 2

TELUS Health partner API

For deeper R/W beyond FHIR scope (custom workflows, vendor-specific objects), MOVO-X enrols in TELUS Health's Practice Solutions partner program. Credentials issued per-deployment.

Path 3

HL7v2 ADT bridge

Where partner deployments expose an HL7v2 message bus, kiosk emits A04 'register patient' messages on arrival. Familiar, well-tested transport.
