Frequently asked

Canada-specific questions.

Is MOVO-X PIPEDA compliant?+

Yes. MOVO-X meets PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) requirements plus all provincial health-information privacy laws — Quebec Law 25 (strictest), BC PIPA, Alberta PIPA, Ontario PHIPA, and equivalents in other provinces. Encryption at rest (AES-256), in transit (TLS 1.3), audit logging, role-based access.

Does MOVO-X support French (Quebec Law 25)?+

Yes. Full French-language UI for kiosks, queue display, patient portal, and admin. Quebec Law 25 (in force 2024) requires explicit consent, data-residency considerations, and French-language access — all supported.

Does MOVO-X integrate with provincial health authorities?+

Yes. We integrate with Alberta Health Services, BC PHSA, Ontario Health, Manitoba Shared Health, Saskatchewan Health Authority, and others via HL7 FHIR APIs. For Santé Québec, integration is via supported gateway protocols (DSQ API — subject to Santé Québec onboarding). Custom integration scope is confirmed per province during deployment.

Is MOVO-X data hosted in Canada?+

For provinces that require Canadian data residency (notably Quebec, BC, Alberta), data hosting is configurable to Canadian regions. Default hosting is regional with documented data flow per privacy compliance.

Does MOVO-X support OHIP, MSP, AHCIP, RAMQ, and other provincial plans?+

Yes. Eligibility verification, claim submission, and remittance for major provincial plans. Specific integration depends on province.
